Go Fishing - Alaska Fishing, You Won't Regret It!
If you are getting bored by the day with the daily rigmaroles of traveling up and down the tube in Manhattan, then you really need to take a break. A break which satiates your hunger for solitude and of course some fishing, all in one place. Not many places that I can think of which qualify for this double treat. One of the not many is Alaska. Located in the Northwestern tip of the United States of America, Alaska offers the vista of fishing to all you fishermen and wannabe fishermen.
What makes Alaska a special place for fishing? My immediate answer to that based on what I know would be its extreme climate which can only be found in the Arctic regions. And do you know that Alaska is extremely close to the Arctic?
If you do not know, then do not be surprised by the brands and species of fishes that are found in Alaskan waters. These fishes are so unique by what they are that most of them are found only in Alaska. And it comes as no surprise that the Export directory of Alaska is full of seafood. With Bering Sea adoring the Alaskan waters, you are never short of fishes here in Alaska.

Alaska boasts of a source of Salmon, Rainbow Trouts and Alaskan King Crabs et al in good abundance. The mere mention of the above four is good enough to get me ready for my supper. But the above four are not the only ones. They are just mere names in a long list of fishes available. Fishing is not illegal here in Alaska.
So you can look up to catching your own fish (Depending on what you like) and cooking them for food. The superb Alaskan backdrop of ice/snow-clad mountains gets you to feel that Alaska Fishing has an experience on its own. There are plenty of accommodation facilities in Alaska which allows you to stay and do a complete consortium of activities which can be categorized in Adventure? But what about fishing?
A lot of these accommodation facilities provide charters and other fishing facilities that you will just be wondering which option to take. From fishing for Lingcods to hunting the great Salmons to fly fishing, the mere mention of these activities makes me to book my tickets to Alaska. What is fly fishing? It is the one of the oldest fishing methods which is used to catch fish (especially Salmon). In fly fishing, an artificial fly is tied to the end of the fly line. The fly line is controlled by a fly rod. If you thought that the last three lines were technical enough, I encourage each one of you to come down to Alaska and catch some fish. More importantly, it is not the job of catching the fish. It is the fact that the whole ambience is setup in such a way, that you will just want to keep coming. Alaska Calling…..
